Merry Christmas!

On Christmas we went to Grandma & Grandpa Young's house for dinner. Andy, Allana, and I played in the snow. It was fun! We built 2 snowmen. Andy was diving through the snow. I did flips across the yard.

Disneyland!!!

Toon Town had to be my favorite stop of the whole day. It was so much fun to see Allana meeting the characters and playing on the cars there. She even got to play with Goofy at his house! Kristie got a couple kisses from Goofy too. Corinne was super the entire day and both Allana and Corinne just took naps in the Bjorn when they needed them.

Our Favorite Spot in Vegas

We've always loved visiting the Bellagio Conservatory and watching the fountain shows. We took the whole group there to share our favorite spot on the Strip.... It looks like Garrett and his friend that is a girl (not girl-friend) liked it too :)

MVHS Dance Tour

We just got back from a trip with the Ballroom Dance Company (Directed by Andy) and the Orchesis Dance Company. We did a show in Las Vegas at Step by Step and then took a Tango lesson from Ron and a Samba lesson from Josie. It was so much fun being there in the studio again. I have fond memories there. I am glad we had the experience of being Las Vegans for a couple years. I must say when we visit I can still remember Vegas feeling like "home".

Thanksgiving in Rexburg

We spent Thanksgiving in Rexburg at Grandma & Grandpa Anderton's. Bonnie & Tim were there too for the Thanksgiving fesitivites. After lunch we played disc golf in their yard. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time.

Hay Play

Corinne and Allana playing on the hay stack before Thanksgiving.  They thought it was such fun... even though they nearly froze in the process!

Their favorite part about going to Burtenshaw's is seeing the cows.... oh and they like the Burtenshaws as well. Kaylene and Lynn are so good to the little ones!

Raking Leaves with a Baby & 2-Year-Old

Allana & Corinne helped me rake up the leaves today. Allana was throwing the leaves straight into Corinne's face and she was still smiling and laughing. By the time I got the Camera Corinne was just ready to crawl away. Allana was very disappointed when I got the garbage can to throw away the leaves. "Mom! What are you doing?!?" After I explained that there were more leaves in the back yard to play in, Allana started helping me get the leaves into the trash can. It was a job well done for a baby and a 2-year-old.

Potty Training Early

Corinne is growing up fast. She already has four teeth and now today she started using the toilet! I know...our kids are so advanced :)... Well, she isn't potty training, but I could tell that she needed to poop today so I sat her on the toilet and she went poop for her first time on the toilet. Allana was cheering and clapping, "Good job, Corinne!" Then she ran and got Corinne a book to read and a toy to play with. What a good big sister. (The picture I attached is actually from a couple months ago. I didn't take any shots today).

Our "Young" Team Took 6th at State :)

We placed 6th at state with one loss to the 2nd place team (Dixie). We have a lot of sophomores and freshmen returning to the team next year. Our goal is to be one of the top 2 teams next year.

Macaroni and Cheese Please

"Mom! I need to use the potty! Then I will finish my lunch." I walked to the bathroom to help Allana and as she came to the toilet she told me, "I laid the blanket out for a nice simple picnic." I didn't realize she had also brought her plate of Macaroni and Cheese to the living room. When we were done using the toilet, I walked out to see Corinne smiling and holding the plate on top of her head. The noodles were scattered everywhere including her hair. Allana was upset to see that her "simple picnic" was ruined and she began cleaning up even eating her macaroni from Corinne's hair! Once Allana saw that I was laughing at it, she was ready to cheese for the camera.
